Promoting reading at an early age leads to better educational opportunities and therefore helps to reduce the risk of poverty. The ‘Read Aloud Neighbourhood’ project aims to turn families who do not read aloud into families who do. The initiatives and activities should come from the neighbourhood itself and be continued. This process is initiated, monitored and evaluated. The project is being carried out in the ‘Am Schöpfwerk’ neighbourhood.
